Services

Updated by Reed Disney

Every Any2Exchange® participating organization has the opportunity to peer with other CoreSite® customers at their local data center via direct interconnection.

The Any2Exchange allows networks the ability to quickly establish peering relationships, while saving time and money on everything that would be necessary to support numerous physical interconnections without the Any2Exchange community.

As many participants will have different needs and budgets, CoreSite offers multiple services within the Any2Exchange peering platform. Any2Exchange participants can purchase additional services as necessary, 24-hours a day, via the MyCoreSite online portal.

Gigabit Ethernet

Standard Gigabit Any2Exchange connection.

Gigabit Ethernet connections are supported by either a Nokia 7250 IXR switch or Extreme NetIron MLX series switch.

10 Gigabit Ethernet

Standard high speed Any2Exchange connection.

10 Gigabit Ethernet connections are supported by either a Nokia 7250 IXR switch or Extreme SLX series switch.

100 Gigabit Ethernet

High speed Any2Exchange connection.

100 Gigabit Ethernet connections are supported by an Extreme SLX series switch.

The Any2Exchange will support the use of bundled port connections, up to 16 ports, for participants exceeding the capacity of their Gigabit, 10 Gigabit and 100 Gigabit Ethernet connections. Pricing for standard bundled port services is the same as for the initial connection: billed monthly, apart from a one-time set-up charge to cover cabling, parts and labor. When ordering a port channel, LACP will be used. Static link aggregation is not supported.

Route Server / Any2Easy®

CoreSite offers route server peering (a.k.a. multi-lateral peering) via our Any2Easy offering. The intent of route server peering is to give Any2Exchange participants a single point where they can peer with many networks, thus reducing their need to establish numerous individual peering relationships. More information on this process can be obtained in the Any2Easy® section of this document.
